Monday Progress Report
I hope everyone had a relaxing holiday! Unfortunately I have some bad news. The new monsters will be finished by the next update in 3 days, however due to my own inconsistent internet connection this week, the Yuelia sex animations will not. Adobe's wonderful Creative Cloud doesn't allow me to use flash when I don't have an internet connection, and I can't use an older version of flash because it conflicts with CC. More than anything I want to tell you all that I can make all 14 animations in the next 3 days before the update drops, but realistically I won't be able to make it. Idles are easy but full sex animations with several variating loops usually takes me a whole day and a half in itself. Again, my apologies!! The day they're finished, I'll pester Hbomb to drop and update with them in it!

Pretty excited, took my donation off for a while not afraid to admit it, but I'm liking these Monday updates a lot, being updated each week is a great way to see how things are coming along. Will be adding my donation back by the end of this month. Keep up the good work you guys, can't wait to see the animations when they're fully implemented. I feel like that's what the main apeal of the game is for me

DeleteThat's fine! I'm really sorry about the delay in the event animation, I'll be animating it right after the idles are finished, so when the sex animations are finished I'll have them put in the game right away!

ReplyDeleteHmm..Let me get this right. So next update(lets say alpha 7.1) we only get ferals(idle animations) and no sex animations(Christmas event btw.) Is that means we will see the christmas event in the next update(alpha 7.2), altogether with the promised sex animations? Also when you said it took a day and half to finish complete sex animations, are you referring to 1 sex animation? Anyway, still glad that ferals still make it in following update. Can't wait to see em!

ReplyDeleteAnimations definitely classify as content so getting them 'soon' is good news even if I am more interested in actual mechanics than animations. I've played enough heavily LL modded Skyrim to know that eventually you just skip sex scenes most of the time. But that still means that in some cases they are NOT skipped and the ability watch them helps with the immersion. Regardless, I value actual gameplay mechanics a lot more in sexy or kinky surroundings and hopefully there will be new gameplay features as for now the gameplay is fun only up until mid game and after that the fun largely dissipates and it is actually more fun to start over than to 'finish'.

ReplyDeleteEven if you concidering it late its nice to know animations will be coming again soon, its nice to see the communication be taken to heart, I get to see in the works stuff I never seen before. While my own donation is minor I do enjoy all the hard work that has been put into this game (love me some furry).
ReplyDeleteI remember seeing a sketch of the fluffdragon awhile back and that made me smile from ear to ear, but I would like to know if there was any creatures you would like to add or thought about adding or something the others wanted but haven't been able to add yet, while the list for cratures in this game are huge, simple creatures like amphibians and foxes to cerebures and lamias and dragons, I am interested in your own thoughts on it.

However it seems that the captia box breaks the ask box right now, since it ends up off the window and you can't interact with it. This might be only when not signed into tumblr, as I have no way to check this as I lack an account.

ReplyDeleteif I am right, the new update is for patreon supports only, but non-supports will get the 7.0 update, unless I am mistaken.
DeleteKeep up the great work, and fuck the haters. You guys bit off quite a chunk adding in the alt forms, so I get that covering all the bases will take a while. Just don't forget about the game itself! One suggestion: now that we're going to have more animations it would be cool to add in a toggle to temporarily disable them on the breeding menu. After getting some critters together with very large heart pools it will be tiresome to click off the animation each time for when you wanna breed a pair like twelve times, you know? Anyway, looking forward to it, and here's hoping our saves get kept. D:
DeleteIn the options menu you have options to turn off hetero, gay, and lesbian animations. Just turn off all three from there (or just whatever is needed for the poor critters you are sexing to death), and turn them back on later if you want them. Though a quick toggle on the breeding menu would be even nicer.

ReplyDeleteThis is a porn game, stop adding in new shit and finish what you got because right now it's boring and like many people have said it really seems like a scam where you guys get hundreds of thousands of dollars for never finishing a game.
If you would have read the previous posts, you would know that the creators want to finish the ferals first, and after this update they are planning on adding a new member to the team and work on the animations, as they are listed in the wiki (so first female breeder x everyone, then male breeder x everyone etc.) Making such game takes time, and don't forget by now they only had one main animator, Vanilly. Just be patient, and if you're dissatisfied, watch some other porn, and come back to BS after a while ;)

ReplyDeleteI feel like letting people upgrade and customize their main character would be great. For expelled for every level you gain you can add a certain amount onto their bust, butt etc. And at max level you can customize freely these upgrades couldunlock new available animations like unlocking a tit/ buttfuck for all monsters with the character when they have a certain size.

DeleteThere would have to be alternative bonuses for balance and perhaps limited time penalties.
Because at the moment there doesn't seem to be any penalty for breeding Gremlins.
I still think we should be able to see a screen like the monsters have for our breeder as well.
Another classical trick, "we can't synchronize our repository", with minor variants. One less in the list, I'm expecting to see the next one ^^
ReplyDeleteYou know I hate to be a stick in the mud but something needs to be addressed here. If an animated sex scene takes a full days work then with apron 40 different fuck able characters to pair up your looking at almost 1600 different scenes... my math could be a bit off here but I think your going to need another animator... not like you couldn't afford it with the amount you guys rake in.
