Worked on the Preferences, Status Effects, and Traits. Will need to do more work on the Animation customization as I move into starting to work on the UI (just barely got started on it). With the new set up it's now possible to have new rooms for your ranch buildings to house more of a type of monster, though I still need to set up the system for buying them. At first additional pen rooms will just look identical to the first, but we may end up making them unique eventually.
Haven't touched the dialog system yet but I'm looking forward to it, as I have some changes designed that will allow dialog and choices to be a bit more dynamic depending on the player's situation. Nothing too fancy, but at least enough to make options where you're doing a "skill check" with one of your monsters more interesting.
Will it be possible to rearrange monsters within the pens?

ReplyDeleteIm a bit curious about how the multiple rooms per pen to house additional monsters will work with the added property of happy/unhappy monsters. When I played the previous version it was hard enough to have the time to tend to 5 monsters per pen in one day, let alone several rooms per pen. my concern is if it will even be possible to keep all the monsters happy with full pens. I understand its all about how ambitious the breeder is and how many monsters they want per pen, I remember you mentioned a trough idea to feed monsters daily. I was wondering if a "hold item" system would be possible for some monsters with sexual preferances. such as: a monster with the dick worshiper or similar preference. I want to keep this monster happy, but I have other monsters I need to attend to for a client. a hold item could be placed such as a dildo, or some other sex toy to keep it in a suspended happiness stage(I suppose even a consumable could work to keep it happy for one day). it wouldn't make it any happier, but it would remain satisfied until your ready to pay more extensive attention to it. anyway just wanted to bring up the suggestion. keep up the good work. looking forward to the update.
