Progress Update

Finished up all the code for generating offspring so that now works correctly. Also got some work done on some more UI (message prompts, etc) and got started on the dialog system. Animations are all handled correctly now; I just need to code the UI component that displays them. In between working on the dialog I'll probably also try to get the nifty new trait display working by tomorrow night.

    Will player/fan submitted content ever be a thing? Like CoC does it, it'd be neat if writers or even artists (ones decent enough to imitate s-purp's art style, maybe) could submit things for random events. Hell, what about a community designed monster or NPC? In past experience, projects that involved more input from the fanbase as a whole were well received; I'm sure that it'd also help deal with 'empty' time between updates.

    I know patreons can donate to get a personal monster or even made, but the vast majority of patrons aren't on those tiers.
    Just an idea though! Thanks for the update.

      I'd like to see the more talented fanbase get involved with the animation process. The new images are visually appealing but the animations are pretty dull. They typically involve a single loop with no climax.

      I know you are, I was trying to embarrass you. Please learn the difference between the two, shit I'm German and I can positively say that I've not once made that mistake. It reflects horribly; I'm not saying that you can't ever make a spelling error, or some obscure mistake with your grammar... but the difference between "your" and "you're" is really something you should be able to handle, considering that you are from Ohio?

      Thank in what you believe that you're from English speaking country.
      There are many languages that from one misspelled/misspoken letter there's new offensive meaning that still makes perfect sense grammatically. Hell, in my country even lack of one coma can make big difference.
      Btw. "others" not "other's" unless you're talking about some can who's reading then you forget 's after H-bomb.

      Sorry, but you're/your is very easy to avoid and very common mistake.
      Why are you have such a problem saying "Sorry, I made mistake. I try to learn how to avoid it." and actually go to learn.
      Imho it's you who started with "trolling" firstly using "3rd world argument" then adding personal remarks about Anon character flaws and childhood. If somebody has different opinion than yours it doesn't mean he's/she's trolling.

    I wont pretend to know anything about coding and that is why I am posting here. I was wanting to ask where a good place to start for coding a game like this would be. especially for level progression in a game. If you cannot give me any information I would understand but I though I would ask anyways. Thank you for your time and for making such a wonderful game even if it isn't complete yet.

      First you need to figure out what type of operating system your game needs to use because reading a whole book on C+ programming isnt gonna do a whole lot if you end up using flash AS3. Although learning core programming cant hurt! For starting your research (and very first test project) I'd recommend checking this website out http://www.wikihow.com/Make-a-Flash-Game Hope the information helps.

    Is there a list of all the features currently in the 5.3? I think I've done all that I can, but I hope I haven't so I just wanna make sure. Elf Quest=done Pink Pearl=done Rest Stop=done Perfect Monsters=done. I keep going back to the beach, elf palace, and feral camp but nothing happens so I assume that's it for now.
