Alright, I'm all tuckered out :P. I'm tossing up the 5.0 build onto patreon in the next five or so minutes here, then the new debug codes will go up a few minutes later.
5.0 patch notes
Additions
- Your first peek at the new vanilla stallions. They're not entirely implemented yet (lacking mane/head variations).
- You can now use the ordering system in the guild services menu! Use it to order a higher chance of getting certain monstertypes/traits in the store for 5 days. Not entirely balanced yet.
- The base for the affection system is now in place. After you meet NPCs, you can look under the "Contacts" section of the status menu to see how much affection they have for you. Once more events are implemented, you'll be able to raise NPC's affection through particular choices/completeing particular tasks for them, and doing so will unlock new events with them. Right now the only implementation so far is that Kala will like you more the more monsters you release (as opposed to donating them). In the future there will also be indicators to tell you when you gain or lose affection with NPCs.
- New holstaurus barn.
- There is now an option to auto-skip dialog, for those who truly hate words. Using the skip button during dialog will also now skip through unimportant (non-game-altering) dialog choices automatically.
- There is now a Harvest All button.
- You can now donate monsters as soon as they're born.
- You can now see how many guild points you have right on your hud.
- We've made the accumulation of wealth 85% more satisfying.
- The Status Menu now tells you when/for how long you're pregnant.
Bug Fixes
- Keyboard shortcuts should become randomly unresponsive less often
- Fixed various UI bugs
Debug Codes
- There's now a debug code to give yourself guild points
- There're now debug codes to change a monster's hair, face, skintone, and colorscheme
Thats a hell of a patch, Hartista. Really excited to see you putting in the framework to greater things. Looks like a lot of quality of life improvements. The donate on birth button was desperately needed. Im really glad you guys are doing such solid work.

ReplyDeleteGreat work first off Just I'm not sure if Harvest all works properly I keep trying it and it just harvests once, but I really love the new donate right after they are born feature so much more helpful.
ReplyDeleteI'll second that, "Harvest all" is definitely not working as intended. It is, in fact, a bit OP because of the bug.
DeleteUsing "Harvest all" will currently:
-count as 1 harvest
-give you consumables for the number of harvests it should have used
-advance time by the amount all harvests would have.
Using this bug to your advantage with greased lightning + high DEX + the perk that doubles consumables will yield ridiculous amounts of consumables.

Animations are great and all, but that is only what attracts your consumer into starting to play the game, the several additional game play and bug fixes that you have accomplished is what will keep them playing it long after they've lost interest in the animations. great stuff man, It makes me happy to see this game's growth as a patron.

DeleteNo; Cruel + Demon Fire = Normal. Now that 'less than' client requirements is scrapped, Cruel/Fire are just stuff that gets in the way. Same with No Downsides, Gentle, Horse Cum, and Harpie Grease; their usefulness ends as soon as you start breeding out negative modifiers in your breeders.

I got an idea to fill the missing or old animations. Spurple can draw a 2 or 3 panel comic for them. So when we wait the animations we see at least something with new designs. For me to see old and new animations together confusing..
I got a question about mistress . What is she doing? Spurple made the horse so? I didn't see anything at his tumblr about bs too. He started his own breeding season type Pony game.
You can add comics to events too.. spurple is drawing good and fast. So the visual get richer.

While I see where you were going with the breast animation in the protagonist/DW scene and totally respect that ambition, it's still not growing on me. I think it isn't working with this frame-to-frame transition style, so I don't know if you should switch to a simpler linear flop, or if there's a way to save it, but I do think something needs to happen.

Deletedid the cumshots get taken out? every time I do a animation that should end in a cumshot, it just ends when I click the arrow. the multi-scene harvests still work so was this a bug or intentional?

I like the public release update but skin color still isn't implemented. was this fixed with the new update or still something your working on? all my cat girls and elf girls stay the same skin tone no matter what.

DeleteThe game is slowly shaping up. Hope you don't mind a few suggestions:
ReplyDelete- elves have chains. Use them in the scenes. You have the big Dickwolves, Butt Stallions and Demons. They can hold the elf girl by the chains (hanging high, like the one on the wall in the Elf Stockades - or hanging low, so her body is horizontal. Facing up or down is another matter.)
- chains could also be used for choking (for those that have such a fetish..and the elves might going by their description)
- why are the hands of those elves in chains free anyway? They're not really chained.
- two types of elves? Shouldn't be hard to do, given that they'd be using 99% of the same assets. Dark elves (or whatever) with darker skin tones, the more perverse bunch. And Wood Elves (or whatever), the lighter skinned, thinner bunch. Have them use different eye set, possibly a slightly slimmer body. Minimal changes really.

Okay, I've got a question about something that's been bugging my for a while.
ReplyDeleteI'm a non-patron and I currently am far too busy to become one at the moment, so I make sure to save my game as often as I can.
So why is it that when I turn off my computer all my hard work on the game isn't saved?
Should I just download the file? I did that but then my game doesn't get updated...and if I want to play the new updated version then I have to download that one too, but I ends up not transferring my saved game to the update.
What do I do?
Any suggestions?

DeleteThe game is saved in your cookies, so if you have anything that routinely clears out your cookies that would be why your save is getting deleted.
DeleteWe're looking at different ways to do saving, but that'll have to wait until we redo the save system, which will come after all the basic functionality is finalized and the stats have been rejiggered.
Backup the file at the following location in a folder in your C: drive's root dir. Copy and paste it back in if it disappears. Also works when going from current save to newest update (though your mileage may vary)

As for me, even though S-Purple seems to be a great breasts n' hips lover, he is quite talented in drawing some creepy unusual stuff. Redrawing some concepts to make them more casul wouldn't improve it's quality at all, in my humble opinion. However, I find your decision to change stallions design quite logical - concepts were looking just like another skin for dickwolf. But I strongly suggest you to do the game you would like to play (and find erotical) by yourself rather than trying to predict the reaction of a community for every single step you make. I mean, in Corruption of Champions, for example, no one asks you, would you like to be raped by an enourmous tentacle plant or not. Still, the game is quite popular.
