This update is actually mostly storyline/backstory and includes a lot of dialogue that’s all available to you from the beginning of the game. The rest of the updates are fairly minor.
- The Guildhall is now available in Town (unfinished)
- Conversations with Roxie, Cordelia, and Saint Lily are now available
- The Event back-end is in place, which should allow me to produce a ton of new events in the next couple of months
- New eyes and haircuts for male elves
- Demon x Catgirl sex anim (rough)
- Minor bug fixes
Known Issues:
- Roxie mentions donations, which don’t exist yet
- Cordelia is a lying bitch and will never give you work no matter how many times you come back to talk to her
- The Marquis and Marchioness still don’t actually give you any semen
- A bunch of pregnant player animations are broken for reasons that are still completely mysterious to me, will fix in the future
And this just became the perfect birthday present. Thank you Hartista!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I wanna talk with you about your website, maybe I can be helpful in some way.
yay new update so happy X3
ReplyDeletelooks like the exe is broken. all i get is the pink bar flickering forever when i try to open it.
ReplyDeleteI have the same issue.
DeleteI just uploaded a fixed version, it should work now.
DeleteLoveing the update H-bomb curious to see how the story plays out and to see other new character's.
DeleteHarry for HBomb
ReplyDeleteBased Hbomb
ReplyDeleteEarlier version savefila doesnt seem to work here.I really dont wanna grind again 4 my beast.
ReplyDeleteGaaaaaaaaaaaah! Saint Lily's legs are so thin, it's even scary.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I realize it's the way her dress is shaped that make her legs look weird. I plan on changing it a little to fix that.
DeleteI'm one of the people who's griped about Hartista not updating in the past.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Hartista, for keeping steady on this despite a-holes like me giving you lip.
Looking forward to future updates.
Great update looking forward to more.
ReplyDeleteSugestion for further updates:
- Save game (With more slots, so you can have more than one gaming running)
- more humans to "breed" with.
- Maybe rare monsters from other places, that need to be captured.
I'd love to have humans in the equation.
Deletealso the ability to give those children neoteny and futanari, so that we can give for example human intellect and adaptability directly to harpies and so on.
The conversation with Roxie popped up when I entered the Monster Shop, but where are the other NPCs? No one else ever seems to show up.
ReplyDeleteThe Guildhall is currently an unmarked building, if you move your mouse over it it will pop up, though.
DeleteYes I was able to enter it, but the inside appeared to be empty? The door to the lab is all that pops up and clicking on it appeared to do nothing.
DeleteHm, did you save or load before doing this? There were some bugs with that I thought I fixed but may still be hanging around.
DeleteWill there ever be a way to speak to Roxie and Saint Lily on demand instead of just during the intro or special events?
ReplyDeleteCould there be a special event to give Margo enough holstaurus milk to finally give her the gifts that her family is known for?
Are updates going to be bi weekly or monthly? Are you still planning on moving forward with a new system that eliminates the negative stats?
Who you can talk to and when will change with storyline progress.
DeleteMargo will have some sidequests related to her but I fear her breast size is uncurable :P.
I want to make updates bi weekly, but it will ultimately depend.
Thanks for answering all my questions and for all the feedback today. It's nice to see the game progressing again and it seems like things have settled down a bit for you. I've seen several people saying they want to help and even some saying that they wanted to donate art and animation. Have you had much luck lining up other helpers for your ambitious work?
DeleteA lot of people have stepped forward offering to help, actually. Right now a large part of what I'm working on is setting the game up to be able to integrate contributions from a lot of people.
DeleteIt's good to see you staying true to your words. Im looking forward to see where this game is going.
ReplyDeleteBut now to a little bug report:
When I save the game and later on the same day, reload it, without doing anything other than wasting time, the time is not the same when I was saving.
For example:
It is 9:00 . I click save. Then I go to the town and back a few times. Now the time is 13:00. When i click load, the message that the game was loaded shows but the time is still 13:00.
This does not happen when i buy something, breed something or harvest something
Also, the dialog does not reset if you save before going into town for the first time and then loading. Kind of comfortable, so you dont need to click throught the conversation you already had but I'm not sure if this is planned.
Good luck and keep up the good work!
Saves are pretty broken right now, I think my next target will be rehauling the save system.
DeleteThis will also grant me the opportunity to make it so that saves will finally be able to transfer.
In that save example (the 9-13), did you close and restart the game and then load? It is possible that it saved the time right, but failed to update it when loaded. It is a question of whether the save or the load is broken there.
DeleteIron, I can't speak for the player above, but I did do a bit of testing on my own (I'd meant to mention this one below, in my other post, but forgot it). Without looking under the hood, I couldn't tell why or how, but any actions that don't make changes to anything else except time (going to town and back without buying or selling anything seems the most notable example), seem to cause this slippage. Quite reliably, if you start the morning, save, then go into town, come back (so it's 7 am), the re-load, it will still be seven a.m, despite saving at 6 and doing nothing else.
DeleteMore confusing is this; if you start, save, go to town and come back, then WITHOUT SAVING -OR- LOADING -shut the game down-, restart it and only THEN reload... it will STILL be seven, rather than six... I don't even know HOW that could happen, but it does. It's almost as though it's -auto saving- after any action that doesn't change any data except the time.
I'm stumped, But if H-bomb is planning a revamp of the save system, then it may be a moot issue at this point.
-Erica
Edit: I checked the issue of where the slippage happens, like you suggested there ,to confirm: Saving at at time, wasting a few hours by going back and forth from town, Then resting to turn the day over (and force refresh the clock), shutting the game down, restarting, and then loading up, still results in the same time slip. It's quite puzzling. More and more it looks like actions that consume only time and change nothing else at all, are somehow causing auto saves to occur. In point: If you save early in the day, while it away with town hops, then sleep, then load, it loads to the latest point in the day before you slept, rather than when you actually saved.
Delete-Erica
So other than a few new character intros, the game doesn't do anything new? How about a hint about how the Event system is supposed to work? If we have an idea of what that is capable of, we could brainstorm some event ideas in the format the system can handle for ya.
ReplyDeleteThere were a few more event types that I wanted to introduce in this update but didn't make it. I may have to finish dealing with the save system before I'm able to get them working well.
DeleteI know you are alone on this project, dont get any money and you have a rl also but I'm a little bit disappointed of this update. I though you will start to rework the breeding system. Hope this will be done with the next updates. But after all its good to see that your are still working on this very fine project. I like this game a lot.
ReplyDeleteI just need to make sure it's just my RNG luck and not the game itself. Is anyone else having trouble breeding? I've played 4 games now that I didn't make it past the 1st month, because my monsters bred 0% of the time.
ReplyDeleteI haven't played the new version long enough to judge, but if you are having breeding issues like that then try buying some milk from the consumable store (ups birth chance). Also you have the cheat code 'givememoney' to get as much money as you want now, so game over complaints should be a minor issue right now (not that the game ends anyway on game over).
DeleteI did not know about the givememoney cheat, I will remember this. And it wasn't really a game over complaint (Because Game over isn't a big deal I just start over), more trying to find out if there was a problem with the breeding itself.
DeleteWell, after playing for a while, the birthrate seems about the same as it has always been. Not to say that it couldn't stand to be a little higher normally, but there's things/items that can help up those chances.
DeleteI think it's just that with Catgirls base negative being STA is a heavy limiting factor early in the game, it's really hard breeding multiple times per day when dealing with that. STA is probably the most important stat in the game really as it controls how many times you can breed naturally (hence the number of chances to get offspring).
Sorry to suck your dick here, Ironvein, but this has got to be one of the most insightful observations I've seen on these comments so far. Something was always bugging me, and this was it.
DeleteYeah, the overall pacing of the game is crippled by this early penalty on such a critical creature and a critical stat.
Hartista should swap Catgirls' stat penalties with another creature so that they (Catgirls) are better for breeding to improve the early game. That, or he could make another creature the early default "cheap starting creature" instead of Catgirls (although I think Catgirls really belong in the early game, personally).
Kudos, Ironvein, keep up the good feedback!
I figured it is not really important in the long run, since HBomb had already mentioned removing negative breed modifiers entirely in the future. Personally, I don't mind it as it makes adds a challenge to the game; but it has caused a lot of difficult-to-find bugs and I think he's just about given up on how the breeding is currently working.
DeleteNot sure if this is me misunderstanding what the ability does, but sometimes a monster with Human Intellect 10 will not gain a new skill upon breeding with a monster possessing a new skill. Possible bug?
ReplyDeleteNot so much a bug as a misnomer, what is probably happening is that the monster you are trying to learn from has multiple traits and you are trying to get just one of them since you have the rest, correct?
DeleteHuman Intelligence 'learns' a RANDOM trait from the other monster; if you already have the trait it chooses to copy, then nothing happens. There is no check to see if you already have the trait or not, it just picks one at random. If you are trying to get a specific trait; breed the monster with the trait so a child is born with just that trait and then use Human Intelligence 10 on that monster.
It's not a bug since it does what it is designed to do, it's just counter intuitive. It does need to be reworked in my opinion.
Actually if you already have the trait it chooses to copy at a lower level than the monster you're breeding with, it will raise the rank to match the monster you're breeding with, at least 4.1 did that.
DeleteSo if you have a catgirl with Greased Lightning 8 and a dickwolf with Greased Lightning 2 and Human Intellect 10, then the dickwolf can increase his Greased Lightning by mating with the catgirl.
And even with Human Intellect 10, sometimes it takes a few tries to get the skill to copy, but maybe that's what Ironvein was saying. If your monsters have multiple traits, then the first couple of pairings, the Intellect tried to copy a trait that the receiving monster already had.
Correct for the most part, if the trait HI chooses is better than what you currently have than it is replaced (that includes HI too, btw (HI1 can learn HI10 from another monster; kinda cheat). The problem is that if the HI check passes, it just picks a random trait off the mate and if the mate has say 10 traits, the chance of getting what you WANT is 1 in 10 even with HI10. Hence to improve the chances of what you want to learn, you have to narrow the number of traits HI can pick off from the mate. It is easier to learn from a monster with only a single trait than from one with multiple traits.
DeleteTesting again in the new build, in case Harista finds the feedback helpful:
DeleteI've found that transferral of traits through HI acquisition seems now to be much more reliable that it was. The way Iron explains it here is how I was used to it working; in that if you had two creatures with thirty and thirty one traits each, all identical save the new one, it might take you forever to actually transfer that one trait.
However... in this recent build, I've found it to be consistently more reliable: Over a course of 30 breedings, with creatures that all had 27 traits (including HI 10), and a Source monster that had 28, the source passed his one new trait to the other creatures 100% of the time, with no need for multiple breedings.
In cases where the source creature had two more traits than the receivers (but both sides still having close to 30 identical traits as well), it would take two breedings per creature, each mating passing one of the new traits, reliably, then the other. the order varied: in this test, the two traits being passed were Sour and Hearty, and some would receive sour the first time, then hearty the second, while others would get hearty the first, then sour second, However, EVERY pair only needed exactly two matings with the source creature to acquire both new traits.
I can only assume from this that the code handling the transference of traits with HI has been tweaked to only source from available traits that the receiving creature does not have, or has a lesser version of... One way or the other, this difference removed a lot of repetition and headache from passing traits in this test run. The reliability made it a pleasure to do.
I would add a caveat to this:
It seems that SOME traits are protected from being 'learned' by HI. In particular, right next to this apparent reliability fix for passing normal traits, Neoteny, and Futanari seem to be utterly protected from being passed on via HI. In previous builds, when dealing with stocks of all HI 10 creatures, I remember having to be exceptionally careful who I bred with whom (since if a creature I was using picked up Neo, it then became categorically impossible to produce normal catgirls with it, since it always passed Neo down)... In this test, however, that doesn't seem to be a danger at all any more, and no amount of cross-breeding Neos/Futas/Normals resulted in any transference through HI alone, at all. Each of my 14 test subjects retained their own original configuration of Neo/Futa/Normal/Neo-Futa, despite dozens of cross-breedings with one another; these two traits were never passed, even amidst reliable passing of singular or multiple other mundane traits, with 100% reliability. Another headache alleviated and gladly.
(more to follow)
-Erica
Bugs and other points worth noting:
DeleteSeveral of these appear already in the known issues, so I'll be brief on those ones:
-Pregnancy not showing up for the breeder (mentioned and addressed by H-Bomb)
-Futa-Kitten seems to have no animations of her own at the moment, however, for TWO pairings, the breeding plays the animation for that monster and a non-futa kitten, with a fixed colour palette (the colouring another user described matches my observations too, and in my case, neither creature was anything like those colours). Since these are the only two animations normal kittens have at the moment, it seems likely that it would be happening for all animations that kittengirls had, irrespective of number.
-H-Bomb mentioned the removal of the 'and then they fucked' screen, in place of the top-screen flier instead, however, the original message still appears for all Harvesting animations that don't otherwise have one.
-Back to HI transference: Improving a trait by receiving a higher level of it through HI is not actually applying the mechanical upgrade to the receiver. This is most easily observable and testable with the fertility trait, since it reflects as a raw number visible to the player: If you have a creature with Fertility 1, and another with Fertility 10, and breed them, and assuming that traits are in order and the receiver upgrades to Fertility 10 as well, the next time they are paired, their offspring chance should reflect that (146%), however, it won't. It will remain the percent chance as if the former had not been upgraded. For breeding purposes, however, the receiver does, indeed, act as though upgraded: If you have a creature with Fertility 2 and another with Fertility 4, and you 'upgraded' the lesser one to four, then attempt to breed them again, they -can- produce an offspring with Fertility 8; only possible if both are being treated as actually being Fertility 4. Thus the bug exists only when concerned with the specific creature that has been upgraded... however, if players 'upgrade' their Human Intelligence in this manner, it would could easily lead to misconceptions about how it functions, with players believing they are working with HI10, when functionally the creature is operating with a lesser level. This bug doesn't appear when passing a fresh trait, of course, only with using HI to 'upgrade' an existing one.
(Character Limit)
-Erica
A work around for this is to set aside the creature you're intending to receive the +10 of a trait, and breed/upgrade/breed-back with stand-ins until you reach 10, then pass back -only- the +10 trait, fresh. Alternatively, offspring produced by a creature that has been upgraded will gain the actual full strength trait, if they get it. (so if you upgraded a creature with Fertility 2 to +10 by rubbing it against something with +10, and then get a child from the upgraded creature, if it passes Fertility, it will pass an actual and fully functional +10, not it's 'faux' one)
DeleteIronvein: (commenting to you directly only because you also seem to be interested in genuinely pinning down the mechanics and bugs as well... just trying to be helpful) If you have been breeding with creatures that possess a lower version of HI, and simply upgrading them to HI 10 from others, then breeding with those 'upgraded' creatures directly, you are not -Functionally- working with HI 10, even though it says you are. This may be why you've continued to find it less reliable even in this newest build.
Harista, I'm pleased to see the mechanical and functional work you've put in since I checked last (been offline for a while), and I'm really glad you're still working on it. I know you mentioned plans to rebuild, so I'm not sure how you're feeling regarding slipping in more animations now, as opposed to hammering out functionality and behind-the-scenes mechanics. One thing I will say that I -really- appreciate, is the animations that have conclusions; as a player, I'd be more interested in seeing many of the existing animations that don't have conclusions, being given them, before necessarily heaping on more of the missing ones (for breeding in particular, the in/out yes/no finishes are a really nice touch, and it'd be great to see more of them)
Hope I've not inundated you with too many words,
-Erica
As to your 'faux' traits and not 'functionally' working, I would suspect that would only last the first day and then work normally from then on. This is following the same logic as getting more than 100 points to STA or FER, you don't immediately get an additional breed/feed it only seems to make those calculations at the beginning of the day.
DeleteAs for you other observations, I personally have not noticed any significant change as you did so I can not agree or disagree with you. Was True Breeding in your mix of traits? True Breeding increases the chance ALL of a monsters traits transferring to the child and it sounds more like what you are describing.
At any rate, I would think if HBomb had really tweaked HI any, than he would have mentioned it specifically as it would be a major change . Care to comment H-Bomb?
Afraid not on the day turn over matter... Any monster that I test for upgrading a verifiable trait, such as fertility, always remains at the level they were born with, for functional purposes, despite reading an improved level, even on subsequent days (by which, in this example, I'm meaning born with a lower level of fertility, such as 2, upgrading by mating with another so that it now reds as having +10, and yet, both then and ever after, for that particular creature specifically, still only contributing a +2 amount of percentage to the pregnancy chance... even on subsequent days, breeding this creature with another who also has +10 Fertility, does NOT read as a 146% chance, as it should.
DeleteAs I mentioned though, this applies only to the specifically upgraded creature: offspring benefit from the upgrade, in terms of receiving, stacking and function etc.
I tested this primarily with fertility and greased lightning, since they were the most verifiable sound traits to check with (given that their level is directly readable as the effect on pregnancy chance or time taken to breed), and it was occurring with both of them, leading me to believe that it is the case for all traits with level, including those whose effects are harder to confirm... including Human Intelligence.
As for the presence of TB, yes, True breeding is present and assumed in all of my tests, however, True Breeding has nothing at all to do with the issue in question, since it applies only to offspring and what they receive: this is about trait transference and upgrading with HI, between mated pairs, and whether or not a child is produced, or what it gets, is irrelevant to the test. What I tested was specifically the rate of HI trait acquisition through breeding pairs, not though producing offspring... the presence of a vast amount of identical traits on all breeding creatures was specifically to test that.
What I found was that a wide selection of creatures representing every possible creature type, all possessing the exact same identical traits (and a large number thereof, to rule out 'just good luck'), born fresh with no upgrading, including Maxed HI, when bred with another monster, possessing the exact same trait list, PLUS two extra traits that the others did not possess, each, and in EVERY test, acquired first one, then the other of the two missing traits, immediately on the first two breedings, and not once did ANY of them require a third shot at the source create to acquire both new traits.
I'm ruling out just plain good luck because the test was done with a large number of creatures, all with an exceptionally large trait pool, and pulling from a creature with an equally large pool, such that the chances of even one monster acquire both new traits immediately on the first two breeds would be miniscule, and next to impossibly lucky, assuming that HI was still picking randomly from -all- traits... and that getting the 100% result that I did for all pairs would be beyond the realms of impossibility.
I agree that it seems like a tweak that would definitely be mentioned if it had been done deliberately, but the test data is what it is, and I couldn't possibly have obtained that result if it was behaving as it used to. I'd also welcome a word from the boss, all told.
make more m/m animations. and make dickwolf/dickwolf at first, because this is based breed.
ReplyDeletethe trait gentle dose not work, negative modifiers still affect the partner
ReplyDeleteAll monster combinations or just a specific pair? There was a bug a while back that the effects of Gentile, No Downsides, Harpy Grease, and Horse Cum didn't work at times. It was usually limited to a specific pair of monsters, but it was never determined what or why it was happening. Don't know if HBomb ever found/fixed it.
DeleteI haven't been able to reproduce this bug yet, unfortunately. Much of this will become irrelevant once I re-haul a lot of the basic systems, though.
DeleteI figured as much. I had thought up a possible work around a while back on the LoK forum, but like you said, it'll be pointless once the breeding system gets its revamp.
DeleteMinor Bug: Player is pregnant and the time countdown shows in the status screen, but the character profile doesn't look pregnant where at one time it had. Still have weird things breaking for no real reason I see. I call it weird because 1) it was working 2) I can't think of why it's not working since it should just be a simple T/F check for which picture to use, and 3) something like this should not be related to anything else to be broken by changing something else.
ReplyDeleteThis one, it ends up, was actually an issue with Flash rather than my programming. I've been reorganizing the file structure for the symbols and for some reason this has caused Flash to lose a few of them (at seemingly random). One of which being the pregnant belly. I'm just going to have to go back and add it back to those animations.
DeleteOkay so I've looked everywhere and it's really hard to find information. Can someone tell me how to raise the number on the traits like Too Stronk has a 1 next to it, how do I make it like Too Stronk 2 or Added Value X that kind of thing.
ReplyDeleteSimply put, traits will stack. If both parents have the rated trait, there is a chance than a child can get the trait from BOTH the parents (the rating becomes the sum of the parents).
DeleteGenerally, when a child is born; the game effectively flips a coin for each trait to see if the child gets the trait or not, if there is a repeating trait; they stack and become a higher rated trait.
For example: If the male has Added Value 2 and the female has Added Value 3; their child could have: no Added Value at all, AV2, AV3, or AV5.
The max rating is 10 for any rated trait.
Yeah I just found that out when I went back to it this morning. I knew I was doing it right, but it just wasn't stacking, but this morning it started stacking so yeah I feel stupid LOL!
DeleteI admit, this game is incredibly addicting, even when I'm not using it for porn.
ReplyDeleteA suggestion: would it be possible to have the demon/stallion animation have the demon as the "top" while using those large hands of his to jack off the stallion? It seems like the perfect opportunity to me. :-P
Sure.
DeleteBy the way, suggestions for what kind of positions you'd like to see for particular pairings are actually pretty helpful and relatively likely to make it into the game.
Hello H-bomb i noticed that there is no animation's for when the monster's get the player pregnant i had some suggestion's but i only got three so far for the futa catgirl dickwolf and butt stallion if you like to see them reply with a sure or maybe. you rock H-bomb.
DeleteButtstalion x Elf girl could be missionary/doggystyle again. I dont mind if positions are fairly similar, it doesnt need to be radically different for each pairing especially if the position wont make sense. Id like cumshots to be completed for the animations that dont have them yet, especially when breeding with the player.
DeleteAs for specific position suggestions, im unsure what to suggest short of googling the kama sutra and linking it here. In general for now, Elf male with female creature pairings should have the female in the dominant position since Elf males are kind of effeminate. Demons are kind of brutal so it should be the opposite.
I'd really love to see Dickwolf/Demon.
DeleteThe way I see it, the Dickwolf would jump on the demon and do him doggystyle, then after getting off and walking away gets jumped by the demon who gives him the same. No love lost between them. z: )
I have idea for Elven Slave Boy harvesting sequel.
ReplyDeleteSo because he's look like a human (+-) and already cuffed, breeder could use that for light femdom BDSM-like harvesting. Like:
* Handjob, blowjob or footjob (maybe while facesitting)
↓
* Riding (like cowgirl or rev. cowgirl)
↓
Than he brake loose.
↓
* Doggy anal pounding (neoteny catgirl 'w' dickwolf style)
↓
* Mouthful of cum while deepthroting
... Yeah something like that.
We call it... "The Aristocrats!"
DeleteThis has maybe already been mentioned before but i think adding animations for existing pairings should be focused on before going into story and such. Itll be better i think to have solid visual and "porn" elements before doing the story, and once thats done slowly add new creatures and animations (release both at the same time mind you, the "And then they fucked" is slightly annoying). Great work so far though, i hope you accept help from some of the people who have offered. Most people realize making a game is lengthy work.
ReplyDeleteThere's something strange going on with one specific combination of creatures. With a Futa Kittengirl in the top slot and a Butt stallion in the bottom slot, an animation shows of a Butt Stallion fucking a regular kittengirl (no cock) - and neither of the ones in the animation are actually the creatures I selected (different colors).
ReplyDeleteWere the colors swapped? kitten had Stallion's colors and vice versa? If so, that ought to be a simple mistake when assigning colors to the animation.
DeleteNo, it was just completely different colors - I selected a purple+green futa kittengirl getting fucked by a purple+orange butt stallion - and the animation was a brown+blue butt stallion fucking a yellow+orange non-futa kittengirl. Same thing with a dickwolf and the same kittengirl - there I put in a green dickwolf and the animation was of a blue dickwolf fucking the same yellow+orange non-futa kittengirl.
DeleteAfter the animation, did the dickwolf revert to being green, or dd it stay blue? Did the kittengirl happen to have Are You Sure You're Not Adopted?
DeleteAs for the cock disappearing, I don't recall any futa kittengirl animations being released. I'm surprised you didn't get the no animation screen.
that happens because there are no futa kittengirl anymations YET. the futa kitten reverts back to a kitten and I happen to have the same colors in the end.
DeleteThat is normal and its got this way, better than no animation oR?
Hey H-bomb what happened to the fertility trait its gone?
ReplyDeleteFertility is a trait found naturally in Holstarus. It's the only breed that will have it from the store. Otherwise there's Mutagenic.
Deletethk hartista , take all time you need for upgrade. i will be patient for the next surprise you have for us poor breeder ^^
ReplyDeleteHey Harista any info on the immediate future?
ReplyDeleteI love the depth you have added to the characters Harista ^^
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see more m/m animations in the next update, maybe a demon topping a dickwolf or maybe more scenes with the butt stallion and dickwolf :)
finish most if not all of the cumshot animations that are missing on the existing animations, and you will have 90% happy following!
ReplyDeleteBug report:
ReplyDelete-Futa Kittengirls appear as kitten girls even if Neoteny is turned off.
-The Futa trait does not enable dickwolves to breed with other males (tested with demons and elves), listing a pregnancy chance of 0%. This may apply to other male monster futas.
-Futa catgirls that lack variations for futa that do have animations for non-futa will not play animations, while futa kittengirls will play the standard kitten girl animation.
-Going to some of the monster rooms (Holsterous Barn, Elf Stockades, and Demon Pit) take much longer to load then the rest.
the futa trait doesn't work on dickwolf's its simply there to say they are carrying it and can pass it on
DeleteThe trait only says that it lets people breed with both males and females. Either that needs to be changed, or the male creatures need to be able to actually breed with other males if they have the futa trait.
Deletetry dick pups
ReplyDeleteI wonder if Harista knows how much more people would spend money on his game if he didn't disappear from the comments boards for weeks at a time.
ReplyDeleteNot sure if this counts as a bug but I bred some Dickwolves/Butt Stallions with Neoteny and their sprites didn't change.
ReplyDeleteSo far, seems like it doesn't affect the game.
Those monsters don't have sprites for neoteny right now.
DeleteSo every race is supposed to have a Neoteny sprite?
DeleteWould be kind if you tell us what are you working right now.
ReplyDeleteI'm working on the website currently, and I hope to have an update on that shortly. Not sure when the next game update will be, but I will keep you all posted.
Deletethankies,l H-baby
DeleteBugreport :3
ReplyDeleteIf you breed a monster and the pen for the monster that is born is full then you click on any pen (like the cat-girl pen) and go into said pen it allows you to keep more than the 5 monsters allowed in a pen.
That is a bug I don't mind having. I get my 5 monsters, and then I have unlimited room for more to either sell or breed with. I've been using that trick for months now.
DeleteOn a side note, I would like to see H-Bomb introduce human offspring when breeding with the player, but still be treated as a monster so it can breed, earn traits, and be sold.
I agree with your side note :P
DeleteSeeing how you can have elf slaves, why not human as well.
since Elfs are supposed to be superior to humans ( I think).
You can't have human slaves, they aren't monsters. All monsters (elves included) are hated by the empire, so we can enslave them, breed them, etc. Humans however are still human, and protected by all the normal reasonable laws against keeping them as sex slaves.
Deletewell, keep them like trainees then :P
DeleteHuman slaves would nice... story wise it could be an optional path if you choose to ally with the elves. They could plausibly possess the magical know-how to accelerate growth. Or perhaps they take the child away to the magical elf realm to raise them to adulthood.
DeleteThey could also be changelings rather than humans. (fairies/monsters that replace stolen children, looking identical to the original)
As thought brought purely by common misuse of the term changeling.... low art monster concept: doppelganger. Looks like whatever it fucks. (thus it can only breed with futas and other dopplegangers)
I actually would like to see the option to choose your own character's gender and, depending on who you pick, you will get an "assistant" on the contrary of the main character's gender so he/she can breed and/or harvest etc...
DeleteMaybe with a certain hidden positive stat bonus too?
Hey! Love the game! I'm not sure if I'm the only one experiencing this, but your saved data disappears after the second time opening and closing the game, happened to me twice now. I look forward to upcoming updates!!
ReplyDeletei liked the time when hartista updated every week. Though that never ever happened... But it would be awesome...
ReplyDeleteeveryone have his own rythm.
ReplyDeleteI migh have missed some earlier reports.
ReplyDeleteHowever:
After breeding a Kittengirl with an Elven Slave Futa I got an Elven Slave Futa with neoteny but without Futanari
When breeding with futas the incest system doesn't work right. An example: A=Catgirl, B=Futa Cat, C=Dickwolf
Offspring A-B and B-C. Breeding these two won't be incest since B is in one case the mother and in the other one the father. You migh want to expand the system.
After beginning the game, saving (download version), going to town, load and going to town again, the dialog won't play. Also this seems to break most other dialogs in game as well.
Other things: The not working futas are somewhat influencing the game. Creating at least the possibility to get them would increase the gameplay. I'm not asking for graphics or animations. Simply the creature type. Should be just a matter of copy and paste.
Elven Boys and Girls are different species. You can never get a male by breeding a female with a wolf or a female by getting a male with a cat. If you restructured them to be the same species you wouldn't need an alternate version of the Elven Slave Futa too.
Elven Slave Girl x Demon:
Use the shackels to spread her over a wall or altar.
Cat Futa x Cat Futa:
Penetrating each other. Most likely difficult to depict, cause of the symmetry.
I hope this is of any help to you.
Keep up the good work.
I think the eventually concept is for gender to be an attribute separate from race, though many monsters will likely still be mono-gendered.
DeleteIn that case futa could be a 'gender' rather than a mutation.
Almost 3 weeks man, Surely you've updated ONE THING in this much time.
ReplyDeleteYou work on one animation or component a week, and come back to it AFTER POSTING YOUR PROGRESS first.
This seems to be one of those games thats going to take forever to update and theres no use stressing over and paying attention to it. Maybe came back every once in a while to see if any progress has been done but don't get your hopes up. Peach's untold tale gets updates every day practically, sure the updates are small and there is a small team as opposed to a single person but at least you feel like its going somewhere, slowly but surely.
ReplyDeletei know right... i am just going to come back like every two weeks or so
DeleteYeah. No stress, no pressure, no worries.
DeleteEveryone's got time.
Except no one is expecting money for peach that I know of. This dude is trying to build trust... Fail.
DeleteExactly, anybody who defends this guy must be blind:
Delete"Maybe, if H-Bomb proves he can be consistent - 60%."
If the character's gender could be picked, then so must the assistants.
ReplyDeleteSome of us like playing chicks that get with other chicks.
Argh I fucked up. I posted this in response to

I don't think you understood.
DeleteThe assistant as in not be used as a fucktoy by the player but rather help in breeding and such and also have it in case the player wants to see the opposite gender doing most stuff the player usually does.
Just in case people don't want to see a male PC blowing a dickwolf just to get the harvestable stuff etc etc.
I understand it would be complicated enough to do a text overhaul over a male PC and all and that's why I would rather see a unique sprite for male pc and also female instead of two for both.
ok, thanks for the explanation :)
DeleteThe speed and way in which you update this game is so painstakingly slow and inconsistent. I suggest that in the future you don't add anything unless it is feature complete, because frankly, adding in two NPCs and a new town location that has ZERO functionality gameplay wise aside from distracting you for a minute or so (that took around a month for you to add in...) is kinda dumb.
ReplyDeleteFinish your animations, finish what is in the game already and then worry about adding new things. Your work flow doesn't indicate you are capable of accomplishing much of anything the way you do things now... you need to compartmentalize and actually finish something.
You have a point, buried a bit too deeply in scorn, but a point nonetheless. We are all much more pleased when HBomb gives (no matter how irregular they HAVE been) regular "what's up"-dates. Its EVEN nicer when that means more goodies for those of us who are eager the see the more finished (and eventually abando... WAIT! I MEAN... completely finished) versions of this project.
DeleteGive an update, HBomb! Even if it's just to say that you've been masturbating to yoga instruction booklets for the last 6 weeks. We just wanna know what's been happening. Otherwise, we'll just assume you've been masturbating to yoga instruction booklets for the last 6... months. And also, feel free to ignore my request, as I have no right to make requests of you at all... Cheers!

DeleteYou were saying something about points buried in scorn. I'd say you made your point, but...
If you want this guy to continue quit complaining and get a life....
ReplyDeleteKeep up the good work
Love this game! wish there were more ass shots in breeding, much like the kittengirl and buttstallion animation. Whats this Debug code?!
ReplyDeleteSo far there is only one debug code: 'givememoney'. It'll give 1000 gold every time you enter it.
DeleteAwsome thanks! now this game will be more addicting, Id best be careful and not use it lol! although i would still like to see what happens at the end! thanks again for the reply!
DeleteI think if H-Pipebomb has finished the new site, he will update the game much faster as he did in the past
ReplyDeletehartista chocolates!
ReplyDeleteWhen come next Update? In next 5 months or next year?
ReplyDeleteHow far are you with the new website?
ReplyDeleteThis is weird. Whenever I go into a pen (happened on the website and Newgrounds version) there are a bunch of "place holders." What I mean is that there are a bunch of random black boxes with inanimate, non-interactive catgirls inside. This makes it so I can't even really do any harvesting or feeding since I can't access any of my monsters. There's also this weird thing where the monster shop hardly ever opens when I click on it.
ReplyDeleteHi there, I don't know whether this already is a known issue and honestly I'm completely new here, but.. even though I disabled Futanari Trait in the options (did so right at the start), there are catgirls with that trait.
ReplyDeleteThat aside, I have a small question.. will there be a gender choice for the player character in future versions? The female default bugs me a lot ^^'
