Hello. Great work guys, as usual. But anyway, may I ask something? Sorry if it had already been said, but I was thinking. Do 7.1 saves work on 7.3.1? Like, at all? 7.1 used .sol, and the public build now only recognizes .sav. I tried moving, renaming, but all I get is a message of "invalid save data". Is there a way to load old saves in this version? And if not, will it be like this every new release? Just asking, I'm pretty sure there are others wondering. But serious, congrats for the work done. It looks amazing. :)
I believe that they made a major change to the way to game handles some stuff inbetween there somewhere, which is what made the saves incompatible. They have said that they intend to try to keep saves compatible between versions as much as possible, but it just couldn't be done that time.
this game has mostly female breeder animation and not enough male breeder animation why is that? so far I only seen mostly female breeder art only. this game is starting to feel one sided game with female breeder having most of the animation and art.
They're doing the animations in order. First all the fbreeder animations then mbreeder. Afterwards, all of a species' animations are worked on: cats, then wolves, then harpies, and so on. That's the plan so far.
When will they do the mbreeder animation? not everyone wants to play the fbreeder you know. I guess I won't play this game for a while until they some mbreeder animations in but ill check this website for mbreeder updates.
It's on the wiki. They're doing ALL fbreeder animations, then ALL mbreeder animations. Then ALL cats. Then ALL dickwolves. Etc. Etc. Etc. Everything got out of order when they did them randomly. So they're following a strict order.
we will not be seeing any mbreeder animations until maybe next year and I high doubt we will see any mbreeders animations this year. thats from looking and reading from the wiki.
Why aren't they doing Mbreeder at the same time then do the oreder for the monster? I guess I should leave for a year/a year and a half.
They're doing the animations according to the tracker in order not to miss anything (basically that's the order they took). At the moment only Vanilly is doing Breeding Animations, because Subtank is doing the event animations (at least I assume that's what's happening, because they didn't really say anything like this). In order for the breeding animations to go faster, they should stop adding more events, and instead let Subtank also do Breeding Animations.
In all honesty I'd rather have them work on the story and the UI system rather then the animations. At least the story wouldn't take as long and the game itself would progress significantly. I mean since the animation are taking so long they should at least add in a story to keep us gamers interested. That's only my view anyways.
From my understanding, HBomb is writing and making the story, Fleet is tinkering with UI, animations and in-game events. S-purple and Vanily is working on art. Everyone is doing bits and pieces on their own.
Yup, they each have their own parts to work on, just like any other job. Not everyone has the same skills, so like any other place you might work, they essentially have different positions. Like XkenghuyX said, though I believe S-Purple and Subtank both do art, and Vanily and Subtank are the animators.
I agree. More story adds more to the gameplay than just 6-7 new animations. However, in terms of animations, I would prefer if Subtank would also start making the breeding animations rather than the event/NPC animations (of course this month we are still getting those NPC animations I'm guessing). I had enough of the event mini-games, let's focus on the base game for once ;)
Because the most of time spent when playing the game is matching and breed the monsters. That the main gameplay of the game. Imagine doing all the breeding session with so few breeding animations, with 90 percent just a blank space. Just..Yawn...Get bored easily. UI? The UI system has been rebuilt thousands times and seems no end to it. I doubt this new UI system is permanent. Story? It is not like we will see story every single days of the game. It only happens at certain time, i.e armadour story which appear during feb. How can you expect people to stay in mood while waiting for story that happens once in year? Some story didn't just happen. It needs some quest to be fulfilled first. No doubt the quest required you to breed and train monsters until certain level. See? The gameplay still center around match and breed the monsters. If this game means to focus mainly to the story, then just turn it to RPG story based game so I don't need to waste time skipping days just to see the story happens. Putting that aside, the harpies animations not get much spotlight compared to story animations. They look plain and some still missing like male feral harpy and cockatiel. :(
You're confusing "story" and "event". The events (like amadour) are the ones happening only from time to time, but the story is more complicated. Story can be NPC background, romancing, getting the ranch assistant, meeting NEW NPCs, expanding the world. Hell, if enough work would be put into it, story can even mean we would either travel to new destinations, have impact on the world (like choosing between god of Chaos or Peace), or compete against other breeders. Lore, like where monsters come from, what are they etc. is also part of the story.Besides, story and UI are made by Hbomb and FleetArt. It doesn't matter for the animations, which are made by Vanilly and Subtank. So they can do both. What I was saying is that additional story actually adds more to the game, than just a few extra animations. But of course I want the animations in the game as well (especially that I'm waiting for the MBreeder animations anyway).If I could take something from Your comment is this: We had enough events, they are rare and skipable (they should be made AFTER the base game is done). I would prefer if Subtank would instead jump on the Breeding Animations train, instead of the events. That way we could be getting 6-7 breeding animations from Vanilly, and then extra ones from Subtank. Make the things go faster a bit :)
Agreed, Artakons. Adding story is definitely an important thing. As for Subtank working on breeding animations, that would be good as well, though if some of the events are repeatable (say, the tentacle scene at the beach), I'm good with working on them too. But once a year - or even once a game events? They are nice, but they should be done after anything that is repeatable - especially breeding.
I can't decide what to say about feral harpy concept. You just took the exact fbreeder from demoness, but that green fluffy nugget looks so cute. :(
I'd say it's good if they have made so many positions, that some of them are going to be re-used. Makes it faster, which gives us more animations made ;)
Exactly. I'd say once we reach the monsters, animations are going to have to be pieced together quickly by reusing positions. Otherwise at six animations per month the team will not be done for 20 years.
Did you expect them not to reuse assets? It moves the process along faster, its a good thing and really there is only so many ways you can draw a sex scene.
If they can reuse same positions to speed up the animation process, there should be no reason for them for NOT able to make all pairing animations since they told us before they can't make all pairings cause they will run out idea on positions.

Maybe, but then all the boobies will stay in the game ;) I'm just saying that at the moment the game seems to aim mostly at the straight male community (not just with the Breeding animations, but the general NPCs, events etc.), and the idea was to appease to everyone (that's where the neoteeny, feral, genderbent are from after all)
Yeah i get all the inclusivity with everyones fetish but some get more than others anyway, like most of those bonus images or events 'seem' to be straight. I was thinking they could turn the sexualities on monsters into a trait, so that the monster gets a limited pool it can mate with (maybe it doesn't like male monsters) but it gets a little more stats or xp.
Simply adding a 'dislikes' category balancing the likes, and making happiness matter, would do the job - 'loathes pussy', on a male, basically means 'gay', and the reverse. You can force them, but it'll be work, not play.
I like how they have the relationship where one monster loves a particular other one, and they already have 'loves pussy' but what your suggesting would be really nice to.

I think the animation process is a bit slow since at this rate all the animations can take like 3 years maybe? that´s crazy man, you will need someone more to do animations/pixel art but that´s just my opinion. Thanks for the good work!
At the current speed it won't be done even in 10 years... It's good that the team finally started working on those, and they're getting used to the pace, but they still need to make some improvements (either add members, or somehow manage to push out more animations per month), in order to actually fill the animation tracker by a considerable amount.
A few people on here make great points, about doing things a bit slow. Great game, and wonderful hard work on it, but I think you guys are taking on too much, and starting too many side projects, instead of working on the core aspects of what the majority of people want. I'd estimate the majority of people want Animations, THEN gameplay. I might be wrong, but THATS how i see it. Great work though, once again. Don't stop making it, even though there seem to be overwhelming complaints, because we all want it to push through, just a more 're-adjusted' focus on animations. ^_^
I agree. I think the simple solution for the animations would be to stop adding new events for now, and let both animators do the Breedings. It would speed things up a lot, and leave space for the other team members to work on UI, gameplay, story etc. without having to stop everytime in order to put the events into code, check for bugs etc. Do it like the "Eva" event, which has the story, but not the animations at the moment, because animating it is lower priority than the breeding :D

Yeah cool character animations, but how do i proc them. Been trying to figure out what to do i this dam game for a week now and the only thing I've done is met some random naked chick on my farm. Are those animations of those NPCs even in game?And is it just me or does this game seem female oriented i read through one of the dialogue scenes and they were talking as if i'm female when i'm male. If it supposed to be so one sided then screw this game and i'm canceling my patronage
