Alpha Build 4.6 Public Release

No, that's not a mistake. I am being generous with the public release just this once and skipping straight to 4.6. The reason being, simply, that there's not enough of a difference between 4.5.2 and 4.6 to justify separate public releases due to the weird way the patron releases worked out at the end of last month. That said, because I'm releasing 4.6 early there's only going to be one public release this month. The next public release will not be until June 7th.

4.4.1 -> 4.6 Change Log:

Additions
- Catgirls and Dickwolves have undergone a visual overhaul, including dozens of new variations
- Brand new Catgirl/Dickwolf and Futa Catgirl/Dickwolf sex animations
- The Catgirl Kennel and Dickwolf Yard have been remade
- Small new Catgirl event
- Spiffy new splash screens, new Status menu (unfinished), and some other UI odds and ends
- A few NPCs have been redone

Bug Fixes
- Animation framerate should be increased significantly
- Fixed a number of bugs that were occurring with random Events
- Fixed some UI bugs
- Harvesting animations are now correctly turned off along with other sex animations when disabled in the options menu
- Replaced a lot of the compressed images, if you find any that I missed please let me know
- Added a scrollbar back to the lists

Known Issues
- Catgirls and Dickwolves new colors/variations do not correlate to their colors/variations in old animations
- Catgirls and Dickwolves may not inherit or transmit visual features to their offspring correctly, due to the fact that the rest of the monsters haven't been visually updated yet.
- Face images in the breeding menu match the old models instead of the new ones
- The Status menu doesn't correctly tell you when you're pregnant/when you're due
- The Albino trait was temporarily disabled

Now, as for the next release: we'll be shooting for a release between the 17th and 19th for patrons. This release will include both male and female elves, new sex animations, and, time permitting, some new gameplay changes/features.

Also, the hunt for an animator is going extremely well. I've been talking with some very promising individuals about filling out the rest of the animations, and with any luck they'll already be contributing animations by the time the next release comes out.

    2. I'm still for multi level HERP-DERP. Derp eyes on lvl 1, derp teeth on lvl2, deformed joints on 3, etc. etc. making the monster more and more incapable of doing things.
      maybe even mutate on higher states and attack other monsters xD Some stats could go through the roof, while others completly wither with declining state. Imagine the herp derp zombie apocalypse \o/

      There should be clients that still buy derped monsters, for a very moderate price, of course. eg. for scientific studies and stuff.

  2. I think the new monsters look really good with this new style, kudos to that. One thing that I don't know if others have mentioned, but a lot of the time it's very hard to see the change in stats that show up after breeding. Also, I think the "all picture" style is a little confusing, and I would like to be able to read words with these menus.

    But great job! Keep up the good work you two!

    2. Breeder will HOPEFULLY be next update. They are working on it and intending to get it in with or around elves, but considering the number of animations for the breeder I wouldn't hold out for all of them (involving currently updated sprites) to go in right away.

  7. I've noticed that very early on in the game, you'll often finish all you can do in a day long before your time runs out. If you then constantly go back and forth between one of your monster buildings and the ranch, you can easily grind out the random monster events. I'm often able to get two new monsters in a day using this method, very quickly filling up to the max 5 per species.

  8. I also have to say that I love the new encounters, I think those are a fun new addition to the game. I think this update is a vast improvement over the last one, and I'm looking forward to seeing what comes next!

  9. I Like the interface more than I did before. Also harvesting is actually worth it now. Every time I play this game I try to keep track of how everyone's related to each other. I'd love to see a pedigree system that lays out all the monsters you've owned and who they had kids with. I don't know how much work that would be but I'd really like to see that.

    2. I'd love a dressup feature. There could be a clothier shop in the town for it. The clothes/accessories could give boosts like in RPG's. It might be a hassle to implement, though... (+1 layer of animations)

    3. What I do is generate every new monster's name with the random button then add to it its father's full name.
      Eventually, Mauricio Alic Baryram Ryan Ludwig Bondy was born as the first demon to max all stats.

  10. How about making non-patrons one relase back patrons?
    For example - when patrons get version x.9, non-patrons get version x.8.

    1. It wouldn't matter as it is the "patron exclusive" version gets leaked out on other websites with in hours. So prolonging a public version update would have to potential to lead others to essentially pirate their game.

  18. So here's an idea that's kinda already been proposed, but I'll give it a try myself: Size Variants. Right now, the only variation between monsters is facial structure, hair/fur color, and hair style. While that's all cool and dandy, how about body size variations? Things like height differences, body thickness, breast size, butt size, hip size, belly size, cock size, ball size, balls or no balls... the list could go on. Now I know that would add even more to your (I assume) already hectic and busy workload, but it could be a 'once everything base and whatnot' is finished. It would add much more variation to the game, and would give the impression of actual breeding to the game. Breeders not only breed animals to give them the best 'stats and perks', but they also breed them for appearance. Buyers go for better looking animals, moreover that for their actual performances. If the buyer wants a pink haired elf female with little goin on in the front but a 'party' goin on in the back (if you get what I mean), why the hell not? Would be interesting, and to say the least, would make the game that much more brag worthy. Sorry if this sounds kind of demanding and/or whiny, but just give it a whirl and see what you think. After all, I'm just a hapless consumer, and you're the one who decides what gets sold as the final product. Cheers!

  19. I dunno... When I look for "monster" breeding games, I kinda expects some of them to actually be monsters. Not a bunch of humans with semi-monstrous parts glued on. That just makes it look like you ripped the designs from an already-existing thing. I vastly preferred the Demons the way they looked, as well as the Dickwolves, because they were actual monsters. But if everything's going to look so human, there's a million porn games out there doing the exact same thing.

    And I'm not bashing the art style. S-Purple does a phenomenal job with their art, and I hope they continue. But like I said, you barely have any right to call this a monster breeding game anymore. It's a matter of time before the Butt Stallions become centaurs or horsemen. I wanted to support it, but... I can't anymore. Good luck with getting what you want, Harista.

    1. Dude, do a bit of research before pulling the plug for a silly reason.

      What you have an issue with is pretty much EXACTLY why they're planning to incorporate a Feral Trait, but it's not going to happen for a while. They've stated that several times and there's even a box on the opening menu which is unclickable right now. By all means do what you want with your money, but please try and have a valid reason for your complaints.

    I hope the lack of cum scenes with the new animations was just run out of time thing. I find the impregnation stuff a bit of a fetish and finding it missing in all the new stuff is a bit of a letdown, so I removed the new one and went back to the previous version.

  24. I don't know if this is a bug or not but the skin colors don't seem to go through when breeding. No matter how hard I try they stay as white as possible. I do love the variations though just wish skin color would work.

  25. Last couple updates seem kind of haphazard. Could've taken 4.4, added 'anthro' trait and plugged in new stuff without wrecking everything. I agree with folks who miss old wolves and separate impregnation animation, and switching back and forth between old and new graphics is a bit jarring, too. Hopefully with dedicated animator those will get fixed soon, because right now the game is a lot less of eye candy than 4.4 used to be.

    1. They already have a feral trait planned, adding an Anthro Trait now would just mean more work in the long run. And they can only do so much per update, they're not going to just remove the animations that are already there, but they also have to add the new ones.

      I also fail to see how it got "wrecked" entirely. Yes there are no impregnation animations and swapping back and forth can be a little disorienting, but this game is still in early Alpha with two team members, you can't expect it to be perfect, and to be frank it never HAS been perfect (I mean this in the nicest way, but things earlier than, what was it, 4.2, were rather lacking)

Actually, that's what I meant - why swap non-humanoid monsters for humanoid, then introduce a trait to bring non-humanoids back instead of renaming that trait to add new monsters to already existing ones? And "wrecking everything" means dumping all the old animations. If new monsters were added rather than substituted in, there would be no need to get rid of good artwork. There's not enough of it by far to consider throwing some out.

  28. Just because those of us who *like* the new models are probably a lot less likely to speak up, I'm going to go ahead and say that I really like the new models. I'm one of the many who might *prefer* somewhat thinner thighs and bigger breasts, as well as more feral-style DWs and impregnation shots, but the quality of the new art is awesome and I'd be more than happy even if there was no change. If and when they manage to make trait-controlled variations I will be even happier, but I definitely am not wishing to go back to the old art. It was fine, but S-purples' are fantastic.

  29. Hopefully we get some stomach bulge. On a side note, you should think about making the skin of the Wolf a different color than the fur. Having the whole Wolf just shaded a different color for variation makes it look a bit strange.

    I finally found out how to use the breeding screen:
    Instead of the Yellow/Blue button you can use the keyboard "1" or "2" to select the correct 'position'.

    Maybe a bit redundant to some of you, but I bet that a lot of people are still messing up at this point.

  32. I realized that there is a problem with the human intellect trait...
    If u get 1 of ur "animals" to overtake any trait from an other one it just works with the strength 1... and even if u overtake the same trait on lv 10 later and it says for example "fertile 10" the effect is just the same as "fertile 1"... the only way to get an higher lv than 1 to work is to breed and the child can have the higher trait than without any problems...
    But if it has "fertile 2" than the effect can't go above fertile 2 without breeding further...

    1. I've noticed that as well. I think it's just a way to be able to make it easier to pass along a higher trait. kind of like a sleeper trait or something. If the monster has human intellect 2, its intellect will never be over the level 2. But it can pass on the higher intellect that it gained through breeding. There are more exact words that i just can't remember right now.

  34. It may just be me, but the futa's dicks look really out of place. Like they were not drawn as part of their body. The lines are not the same size at all for one. I think you may want to look into making it look like a part of their body rather than just an attachment.

    1. That's how flash animation works: everything is in pieces, floating about, and made to move when needed. What you're seeing is S-Purple or Harista animating as best they can and still get the new builds out on time. Getting a full-time animator will improve the "frames" and the static bits.
