  2. One bug found: All monsters bought in the shop are related to one another. Incest, incest, incest. @_@

    1. That was a herp-derp on my part (it thinks that "Null" is a parent). This should be only for the warning, though, and should not affect the actual results of breeding.

  4. You guys do realise that everytime he adds any kind of code, he has to check it fits with all the rest? And even when he checks thoroughly he won't get all the mistakes. The reason bugs aren't found by him is because they only occur at a specific spot and he can't test the whole game again and again. Then we would never have any new content.
That is where we come in. So I don't begrude him taking his time when he has a massive amount of code to work with.
We test the game in return for the free game play.

Cool update Hartista and can't wait for the next. Hope the job searching goes well.

  5. While I'm grateful for the updates (so excited!) I do have to ask... again...

What happened to the Futa trait in the update list?

    1. One of the Futa donors got a refund on his donation, which put neoteny in the lead. Its still the next thing after neoteny.

      Delete
    2. Let me clear this up: One of the male/male donors had their donation refunded, which pushed Neoteny ahead of male/male animations. Technically Futanari was pushed ahead too, but most of the work on the male/male animations is already done so I'm going to go ahead and put them in first (the Futanari trait will be a TON of work). The Futanari trait and the Elves are still coming, I'm holding off on an ETA until I have a better idea of how long they'll take.

    3. Ah, ok. That clears a lot of stuff up. I donated to the Futa pool, so I just wanted to make sure nothing bad happened. Thank you so much for the reply :)

  7. Hello, forgive you or disturb me to see last update, in my opinion, rather than donate so much money to see the progress of the game, you should apply in the creation of the game and put it on sale I personally I put 20 euros, because I am in Europe logical, for my by now I think that it has been a waste of money and I'm not adding anything more until you finish the gamethe excuses that you are only to give you time, like the rest of people who rather than cry about not having anything without doing anything to change. My last advice for the game is that you think a minimum of 8 races all have both sexes: female cats, male cats, male lions, female wolves. And second, that the protagonist is a man as the greatest number of players are male people and feel more identified with the game. without discriminating against women it would stop the option that you could also choose a woman as the protagonist. a greeting from carefully

    1. Donations are currently closed anyway, you couldn't donate more if you wanted to.

I enjoy having a female protagonist (getting her pregnant is good fun) but he's previously said he'd look at adding a male one later one.

  8. Pardon my noobism, but after downloading the new version my save data is not transferred over... where is the folder with the save datas so I can do it manually?

    ReplyDelete

    1. With the way save data works right save data is incompatible from one version of the game to another so you can't. He has stated that save compatibility between versions is a high priority though.

  9. Bug: I noticed in the breeding animation for dickwolf and female protagonist the arrow to move the animation to the next one was gone.

    1. Actually there just isn't a cum shot for the scenes with the player breeding with the butt stalion or dickwolf.

  10. Hope there will be a way to turn male/male off, or sub it for animation of male/player. Same with futa when it is implemented.

  12. i think the gold quests are glitched i have done 5 and it still shows as 2/11 gold traits unlocked is this a bug any one else notice it ?

    ReplyDelete

    1. Gold clients only give you a chance for gold traits. When you sell to a gold client it picks either a gold trait or a silver trait. To make 100% sure you get a gold trait from a gold client you first have to unlock all the silver traits.

  13. I've noticed some odd behavior between player pregnancy and the changeling perk. If the player gives birth to a monster of a different species than the father then the child with have colors that are different. The ones that are changed are the primary fur color and the accent color (eg. the fur and dick colors of the butt stallion; the fur and horn colors of the holstaurus; the fur and harness colors of the dickwolf etc.), every thing else is the same though (facial features, eye color, head hair color). The color difference is consistent but species based; if you have one creature father two children of the same species they will look the same, but if they are different species they will have different colors.

  14. A few suggestions:

    - clinets are mostly useless. Even starting Bronze clients ask for monsters with all stats over 45! Teh requirements are too crazy. Maybe if there were more clients and they shuffle or something.
Maybe something like a request/order than you can "reserve" which doesn't change each month?

    - maby make it possible to sell monsters on the black market. Minimal profit and pittance compared to clients, but better than just releasing them.

    - the abiltiy to buy a potion from the elves that can turn the female PC into a futa for a day?
Another way to get human intelect monsters.

    2. (Jeebus, use some punctuation man)
Having a lot of items also slows down the game considerably when interacting with the items in any way (selling, using, etc.)

Because a tiny change in the monster stats affect the item stats, there is a need to have the items be unique. I would propose to smooth out the items: 0-49 in a monster stat gives you 1/4 star in an item, 50-99 gives you a 1/2 star, etc. and implement item stacks

  16. Just came to the game recently (no pun...), and have loved exploring it and playing around with it.

There are a few bugs that I've encountered personally with the latest current build, and I'll try to cover them with as much detail as I can.

First off, I'm playing version 3.8.2, as a .swf off my desktop.

After this, most bugs I'm finding seem to be occurring when I'm working with animals that have a lot of traits already, so that may be partially the cause.

First issue is that after protracted breeding back and forth, with just enough inter-line diversity to prevent DERPs, I'll often come up against couplings that -won't- give any sort of incest warning prior to breeding, but will still produce a DERP. In these cases, there is always technically some form of incest involved, but usually several generations diluted.

The other problem I've hit up agiainst has been the transference of traits, using the human intellect trait; in particular, there seems to be some sort of bug with the upgrading of traits, in that they appear to upgrade, but actually don't. An example:

Breeding two creatures, both with human intellect 10, and one has All Night Long 10, while the other has only All Night Long 1... After a few tries, the second creature appears to successfully acquire the upgraded All Night Long 10 from its partner... however he doesn't -actually- seem to get it, and if I shut the breeding window and rest them a day, he'll still have the same number of available breed/harvests as though he still only had ANL 1, even though his trait panel is claiming to have ANL 10.

I've only encountered this problem so far when dealing with highly advanced creatures with a fairly sizable trait list, and only with the scaling traits: traits that simply -are-, such as Altruistic, are fine (With the except of 'no downsides' which doesn't seem to be doing its thing, but I've seen others report that too).

    1. hey erica i have seen that to my work around was to bread up human intel to + 10 then slowly build up the stats i want to + 10 then learn them at + 10 to avoid that bug.
im also the person just above you haveing the item issue and + to all 6 mods.

another bug im finding is no downsides sometimes fails as well as the feed of items with slick when the monster has -to all 6 mods even if both are fed with a slick food is ther any one else that noticed that slick is falty or is it only me.

also if your worried about derps try adding in + 10 incourageable
by far trying to figure out the + to all 6 mods was the hardest so far.

also i thing + 10 human intel is broken it says +100% of gaining through breeding but i find you have to beeed 10 times to get a skill sometimes. if its not a bug where you are ment to gain a trait every time at 100% chance and dont then is it a bad tool tip?.

also mutagenic 10 seems a bit broken as well it seems to not pair well with truebreading 10. maybe 1 outa 10 births when both parents have the same skills does mutagenic 10 proc at the said 100% it seems to actuall jump betweel 30% and 60%

    2. Heya,

I wasn't sure if incorrigible protected against Derps, or just against the stat-lowering effect of incest, since I only had incorrigible 1 on the file I'm playing around with, and haven't bred it up yet.

You're right in that learning something cleanly at 10 works just fine in all cases I've seen so far; the problem seems to be with learning a higher grade of a trait they already have a lower level of.

I don't think human intellect is broken, howeve,r it works in a slightly misleading way: the way I understnad it working is like this: the percent chance is a percent chance for it to try to take a trait, so, at 100%, it will try to take a trait every single time you breed that creature.... but, suppose you have a list of traits as long as your arm, and the creature you're breeding with also has a lot: you want to get a particular one that it has that your creature doesn't... but when you breed, it first checks to see if it's going to try to pull a trait... 100%, so it does... THEN, it selects one trait from the other creatures list at random, and tries to pull that one. But, in most cases of creatures with mutually long lists, it's going to select one that you already have, so nothing will happen.

To test this, try breed in a HI 10 creature with another one that has only a -single- trait that is one you're missing.... so far in my checking, that scenario has worked every time, since it only has that one trait to pick from.

I've not tested Muta or True Breeding, but it does seem that there are a few that don't go well together... for example, if you have a creature that has both Altruistic and Cruel, what you'll end up with is a creature with no stat modifiers at all, since cruel will turn them all negative, then Altru will remove the negatives.

I'd assume that what you're seeing with Mutagenic is similar to what's happening with human Int: it's attempting to mutagen a trait that they already have.

Not sure what the situation is with no downsides myself... I have found that as long as I use protection in both directions (so, both Slick and Hearty), it seems to protect fine, but there's definitely something breaking down somewhere, between slick/hearty and no downsides.

    4. Theoretically, assuming you have one, then yes, you could; quite a few have done so in the past, and more will in the future... but realistically, that'd be a no, since I'm here, and you're... wherever you are, hehe.

Not a fan of it myself anyhow, prefer the proper entrance, as it were, but meh, I usually bend to whatever my partner wants *shrugs*

Far too much personal detail and questions aside though... I'll take the question as a compliment. *wink*

    5. Heh, that answer.

That aside what is mutagenic and incorrigible? i have not seen them in game.

      Delete
    6. Mutagenic is a trait that gives a chance for the offspring to randomly acquire a completely new trait, unrelated to any that either parent possesses already. It can be improved up to mutagenic 10, like many other traits, to become 100% chance. However, my understanding of exactly how it works is this:

The level of mutagenic that you have is calculated separately for each parent, so, a parent with mutagen 1 will check their 10%, and the other parent, with say, mutagen 8, will check. I -Think- that provided one succeeds, then the check moves forward, but I -don't- think it can stack, since I've never seen a creature with two mutagenic parents produce two brand new traits.

After that, assuming that the check has determined that it -Will- produce a new trait, it then selects a trait at random from the entire pool of possible traits... including ones that the offspring might already be set to receive from its parents. So, this means that it's entirely possible for a mutagenic 10 pair to produce an offspring that gains no new traits, simply because the trait that it picked at random to get was one that they would have received already from one or both of their parents.

At least, I THINK that's how it works.

Incorrigible is a trait that also stacks up to 10, and gives a chance to protect an offspring from the harmful effects of incest, both the lower stats, and according to others, the possibility of producing a DERP (I've not done this myself, but others say it does protect thus). At 10, it should protect 100% of the time against incestuous offspring being detrimented in any way.

    7. Incorrigable does prevent derp my monstsers all have + 10. they are all brother and sister from same 2 parents. gotta love changeling.
however i still see feeding slick to a crule monster and to a breeding monster fail when both have no downsides its definily broken.
